Dr Shadee Elmasry is born and raised in New Jersey and currently directs the Safina Society. He completed degrees at The George Washington University and The University of London, while also learning with scholars based in the Islamic tradition. He currently serves as a scholar in residence at the New Brunswick Islamic Centre in New Jersey.
