Do you know what disbelievers and other believers may think about the repeating threats of hell and punishments, insults, and curses by the “all-merciful” allah sustained by islamic theology, such as:
2.171 The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries cattle or sheep – deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.
3:10 Indeed, those who disbelieve – never will their wealth or their children avail them against allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the fire.
Clearly, this reveals the totalitarian, arrogant and supremist characters of islam by the book. No wonder, that preaching and defending this non-humanistic ideas have real consequences which cost many lives of non-believers (with collateral damages for the perpetrating and innocent believers), such as beheading teacher, killing caricaturists, large scale islamic terrorism, etc., and on smaller scale in debates for instance the rejection of all opposing arguments without proper examination (repeated quotes of scripture, denying science and evidence, stressing personal experiences), lack of tolerance and very biased reports and manipulation on debates, but also mere insults, or ad hominem attacks by islamic apologetics instead of debating truly ideas and opinions (on both sides to some extents). No wonder, that with globalisation of information and generalisation of higher education, islam is increasing criticised by the insulted disbelievers, and will ultimately loose the battle of the competitive market of religious ideologies, because masses of born muslim leave islam, and those who are joining islam will not stay very long.
Allaah is Most Merciful to His slaves.
He deals with his servants as His servants think about Him.
