In Shaa Allah we would just be more united
If a religious community repeatedly feels the need to insist that it is a religion of “peace” and that “radical Islam” is merely a myth, that suggests an internal issue rather than a purely external misunderstanding. Perceptions do not form in a vacuum. When similar concerns appear independently across Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas, it becomes difficult to argue that everyone else is the problem. At that point, the common denominator deserves examination.
From outside the faith, there are several factors that contribute to this perception:
Foundational example
Muhammad is widely understood, including within Islamic sources, to have been a political and military leader who engaged in warfare. Muslims are called to emulate him above all others. This contrasts sharply with figures such as Jesus, who explicitly rejected violence and taught non-resistance to enemies. For many in the West, the model being followed matters.
Contemporary preaching
There is ample documented evidence of Muslim preachers—often unchallenged within their communities—promoting hostility toward the West and toward other religions. This does not mean all Muslims share these views, but it does mean such views are being taught and tolerated in some contexts, which inevitably shapes public perception.
Social practices justified by religious precedent
Practices such as polygamy and child marriage are defended by appeal to Islamic tradition. While similar practices existed historically in other cultures, they are not condoned in modern Christian theology or Western legal systems. When these practices are defended on religious grounds today, they clash directly with contemporary Western moral norms.
These are examples—not an exhaustive list—of why Islam is often perceived as being in tension with Western values. The burden, therefore, is not on Western societies to simply “accept” these contradictions without question, but on Islamic communities to honestly address why these perceptions persist and whether aspects of doctrine, teaching, or practice contribute to them.
Disagreement with ideas is not hatred of people. But dismissing widespread concern as mere prejudice avoids the harder, more necessary conversation.
Alhamdulillah. Such a nice and uplifting conversation. As my research is doing, most policy makers seem to be still in failure to see the root of the problem within the intertextual lens. The Sheikh has made beautiful points in this regard. Masha Allah. Even if they looked out for the term "terrorism", "extremism", does not exist in all Islamic literature. It was actually made by those who are always starving to be in Power but through Injustice mechanisms, while Islam opposes such wicked and sneaky behaviour. Islam requires truthful leadership. Those who feed themselves from the fear of the public by spreading lies always seem to take advantage of this issue. And who gets to blame by the injustice leadership when the Truth comes out and speak? You know the answer. So, dear Muslims, get back to your faith and Al-Qur'an. Any thoughts that ask for the harms of others is wrong. Isn't that Islam asks Muslims to worship Allah SWT? Insya Allah, may Allah SWT protect Islamic community and uncover those who act as the perpetrators. Otherwise, Allah SWT would not teach us about Munafiqeen? May we not belong to this group. Allah SWT directly as the One who will punish Munafiqeen to the lowest part of Hell. Insha Allah. 🤲🏼
Extremely annoying music at the start
Scary information.

Alhamdulillah for islam!
The truth behind myth of insult and humiliation to muslims and the Islam. when the enemy is powerful, bully, disrespectful, with extreme thuggish and vicious mentality there’s no myth they have the power and momentum. this their time and that’s what they should be doing because it called (enemy) with no fear of God. who don’t like you and way of your life. so shouldn’t be any expectation for any kind of mercy. This is nothing new. This is been happening since the time of the prophet Mohammed PBUH. Asstaghfurallah
Sunnis and Shia are not Islam, but rather a radical form shaped by people of the past who had no authority from Allah to dictate the deen. Radical Islam is a parallel religion created by those who rejected the Quran as the sole authority. When Allah revealed the Kitab as guidance for mankind, certain Arabs and Persians claimed a second revelation from the hadith corpus. Allah has made it clear that the Quran is the only source of guidance. Today’s Muslims are, in truth, mushrikoon, following traditions not stipulated in the Quran. Allah warned that if His verses are taken in mockery, as Ahl Sunnah and Shia have done, and if people legislate halal and haram without His permission or speak things not from the Quran alone, then they should wait for the word to be fulfilled.
Allah is cursing the Muslims of today! If you don’t have eyes to see or hearts to feel, and you don’t understand, then you wouldn’t know.
As a Muslim, you are not meant to follow any hadith other than the best hadith, which is the Quran. You do not have permission from Allah in the Quran to follow others. If you truly believe in Allah, you will never follow any hadith again. However, most people do not actually follow Allah; they follow their man-made traditions.
The Quran is mubeen—clear! If anything you do appears to be association, it’s most likely association. Following man-made laws and books outside the hukum of Allah is shirk, and at that point, you’re just delusional, claiming Islam and claiming to be Muslim, when in reality Islam is an action and being Muslim is an action—you do Islam, you do Muslim! It’s about submission to Allah. If you follow anything outside of Quranic guidance, you are no longer submitting to Allah alone. You don’t need humans to explain the Quran; you need Allah. Allah says the Quran is the best explanation, but only the pure can understand it. This is why Sunnis will never be able to truly understand the Quran—because their actions are not what the Quran calls for. So when they are judged by the Quran, they will be surprised to learn they followed assumption and conjecture.
True Islam is found only in the Quran, and everything else is irrelevant.
Hadith = Hadith (6 books of hadith are included when allah describes hadith)
Peace be upon him and all the prophets and messengers.
You can use mental gymnastics to try and prove you have to follow Hadith, but at that point, you’re just playing with logic. The Quran is the message! Prophet Muhammad followed the message, and obeying him means following the message. Muhammad also followed a messenger, Gabriel, and he followed Ibrahim. Wake up, Sunni and Shia—you’re following a parallel religion.
1. Qur’an 45:6
“These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth.
So in what ḥadīth after Allah and His verses will they believe?”
2. Qur’an 7:185
“Then in what ḥadīth after it will they believe?”
. Qur’an 77:50
“So in what ḥadīth after it will they believe?”
4. Qur’an 39:23
“Allah has sent down the best ḥadīth:
a Book consistent, repeating…”
5. Qur’an 12:111
“It is not a fabricated ḥadīth,
but a confirmation of what came before it,
a detailed explanation of all things,
and guidance and mercy…”
6. Qur’an 31:6
“Among people are those who purchase idle ḥadīth
to mislead from the path of Allah without knowledge…”
7. Qur’an 6:114
“Shall I seek other than Allah as a judge
while He is the One who has revealed to you the Book fully detailed?”
8. Qur’an 6:115
“The word of your Lord is complete in truth and justice.
None can change His words.”
You have no authority from Allah to follow that list below, and if you do, you’re a delusional mushrik. You can claim all you want that you follow Islam, but in reality, you just want to follow the traditions of your fathers. That’s all.
