Beloved Muslims, please read Surah 19 : 71-72 and see what Allah thinks of your eternity.

As a moeslem who read the Qur'an, I say keeping a beard is not forbidden, and if you shave your beard, it is also not forbidden. If you submitted yourself to Allah, believe in Muhammad as Messenger of Allah, believe in the Angels, Believe in The Qur'an, Read the whole Qur'an and practicing what Allah tell you in the Qur'an, not doing anything that Allah forbid you, consistently protect your Faith everyday without failing, then you shall go to heaven. But in some Ayat in the Qur'an, Allah also say that you can't follow superstitions or stigma that comes from your culture, you can only follow Allah Words in the Qur'an that tell us what to do and what not. So making assumptions that Allah give you a hint to grow beard is not doing justice to Allah. Because you can associate growing beard as a part of the old culture in middle east. And also making a self conviction that growing your beard will strengthen your faith is also a kind of superstitions. That is why, I choose to not grew my beard, as I fear that I wont obey Allah Words in the Qur'an.
