I started wearing hijab in public and I started getting lots more ppl talking to me abt Islam or I'd get Salam, I have very European looking white girl features so they're always surprised to see my face and say things like "omg I've never seen a white girl Muslim" and they'll ask me where I'm from and why I reverted, I had a homeless man say him and his friends had talked abt me around town being "the white Muslim lady" because I was giving them food and money if I came across them, I live in Vegas right now. The man was also shocked when I said I wasn't married, he couldn't understand why I'd revert to Islam for myself and not for someone else lol
