Good idea but how would we would agree on who should be the leader when we are still divided, muslims judging against each other, and some would claim one muslim group is better than the other, like perhaps Sunni and Shia. Let Sunni and Shia be united despite difference of practice tradition so long we stay by Shahadah, Quran, and Sahih Hadiths.
