That ayat is taken out of context, usually by j3ws and masihi, i'm surprised it was also taken out of context here.

The ayat of asking ahl dhikr (not knowledge, but reminder, it implies revelation, not just "science" as in empirically gained knowledge) and the context is the fact Allah only revealed to humans who ate and went to the market, because the dismissers (al kafirin) were dismissing the messenger based on the fact they saw him working, eating, doing mundane stuff… they somehow expected the messenger to excrete perfume and gold and to be rich for no reason… although that's not the sunnah of Allah at all… if anything He gives wealth to whom He wills… both messengers, believers or even dismissers if He wishes… And Allah tests with poverty but also with richness…

So it's not necessarily a blessing per se in the long run, it may be.

Point being, the ayat is not about asking scientists… but it's not wrong to ask people who have been given knowledge ofc… as long as it's legit.

If it's empirical based, just look at the results… if a doctor seems good but his patients are not getting better… then beware of that lol.
