  1. The events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion are described in all four canonical Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Here are some key verses:

    1. Jesus' entry into Jerusalem (seen as a political act):

"The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on." (Matthew 21:6-7)

    2. Jesus cleanses the Temple:

"So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables." (John 2:15)

    3. Jesus' arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane:

"Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees." (John 18:2-3)

    4. Jesus before the Sanhedrin:

"The high priest said to him, 'I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.' 'You have said so,' Jesus replied." (Matthew 26:63-64)

    5. Pontius Pilate questions Jesus:

"Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, 'Are you the king of the Jews?'" (John 18:33)

    6. Pilate hands Jesus over to be crucified:

"Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus." (John 19:16)

    7. The crucifixion:

"When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. And sitting down, they kept watch over him there." (Matthew 27:35-36)

  2. Here are some of the main factors that likely contributed to his death:

    1. Political threat: Jesus was seen by some as a potential political threat to Roman authority and the status quo. His teachings and actions, such as the cleansing of the Temple, could have been interpreted as acts of rebellion. The Romans were wary of anyone who might incite rebellion among the Jewish population.

    2. Religious controversy: Jesus' teachings often challenged the religious authorities of his day, such as the Pharisees and Sadducees. He criticized their hypocrisy and legalism, and claimed a unique relationship with God. This put him in conflict with the Jewish religious establishment.

    3. Blasphemy charges: According to the Gospels, Jesus was charged with blasphemy by the Jewish Sanhedrin for claiming to be the Son of God and the Messiah. Blasphemy was a serious offense under Jewish law.

    4. Pontius Pilate's actions: The Roman prefect Pontius Pilate is portrayed in the Gospels as reluctantly ordering Jesus' crucifixion after succumbing to pressure from the Jewish authorities and the crowd. Some scholars argue Pilate would have seen Jesus as a threat to Roman order.

    5. Betrayal by Judas: The Gospels state that Jesus was betrayed to the authorities by one of his own disciples, Judas Iscariot, which led to his arrest and trial.

  3. Mesih was on the cross and he is died on the cross. This will confirm in Qran too. This is why the Christian not critiseses in Nisa about crusifixtion. The jews think he was a false Messias and they crusifixtion him. But it was Allah that the Plan for crusifixtion make. That Was was the smiliary See. The crusifixion is truth.

  4. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️muhammed not save you and neither will the 5 prayers a day from the wrath that Jesus will have al His second coming!!!!
Muh was also the one who said that he will rise again on the 3rd day?😂😂😅and do you want me to believe him ,what he says about Jesus who destruyed the peace of the world,Muhammed!

  5. Its about Killing Truth if there is no Truth what does that mean?
1.Your Freedom of Speech & Thought this is why they killed Socrates cause he taught about curiosity for Truth

  6. Goal of Abrahamic religions is to make you a good follower (Bad followers are therefore not appreciated). The goal of desi religions is make you a curious explorer (There is no such thing as a good or bad explorer).

  7. The name "jesus" was very common at the time. There was another Jesus, his name was Jesus Barabbus. He led a revolt against the Romans and was wanted for treason. It is possible it was him who was crucified in place of Jesus.
Another, more serious note is the erroneous interpretation of the word " Raffa " It does mot mean raised up alive!!!
    It means RAISED IN HONOUR!
Jesus did not die on the Cross. He and his mother, according to a verse in the Quran were taken to a place of safety. A place with mountains and trees and rivers.
So please, my Muslim Scholars stop copying the Christians!! Jesus was not raised up alive!
    DOES NOT THE QURAN SAY:
    EVERY SOUL SHALL TASTE DEATH??

  8. It's amazing that Dr. Naik doesn't actually answer the first part of the question: why the Jews wanted to kill Jesus. It matters because the main charge they condemned him on was claiming to be God (Mark 14:61-65), contra Dr. Naik.

Muslims: please don't ignore it when Dr. Naik fails to give good answers.

  9. There were 2 questions asked . Why was essa killed and who was replaced in his place . I didn’t see any reply to the question but usual uttering nonsense . Can any Muslim answer this ?.

  10. DR ZAKIR NAIK YOU SAID BIRTHDAY IS NOT HARAM BUT WHEN I SEARCH IN GOOGLE THE BIRTHDAY WAS INVENTED BY PAGANS. SO WE ARE IMITIATING THEIR CULTURE SO LOGICALLY IT IS HARAM PLS KINDLY REPLAY TO THIS COMMENT❤

  15. Blud didn't explain nothin', the question is why the jews wanted to kill Jesus ( ISA ), what did he do, to be crucified? He ( Jesus ) never stole, killed, never committed sin. According to the Bible, the Jews wanted to kill him because he claimed to be God (John 10: 33)

  16. Also proving that Jesus (PBUH) is not God, in the simplest common sense. God doesn't need to run away (from his ungrateful creation) and can punish you with a single blast – just like that.

  17. Evidence from Tacitus
Let's begin our inquiry with a passage that historian Edwin Yamauchi calls "probably the most important reference to Jesus outside the New Testament."[4] Reporting on Emperor Nero's decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed Rome in A.D. 64, the Roman historian Tacitus wrote:

Nero fastened the guilt … on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of … Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome….[5]

What can we learn from this ancient (and rather unsympathetic) reference to Jesus and the early Christians? Notice, first, that Tacitus reports Christians derived their name from a historical person called Christus (from the Latin), or Christ. He is said to have "suffered the extreme penalty," obviously alluding to the Roman method of execution known as crucifixion. This is said to have occurred during the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilatus. This confirms much of what the Gospels tell us about the death of Jesus.

But what are we to make of Tacitus' rather enigmatic statement that Christ's death briefly checked "a most mischievous superstition," which subsequently arose not only in Judaea, but also in Rome? One historian suggests that Tacitus is here "bearing indirect … testimony to the conviction of the early church that the Christ who had been crucified had risen from the grave."[6] While this interpretation is admittedly speculative, it does help explain the otherwise bizarre occurrence of a rapidly growing religion based on the worship of a man who had been crucified as a criminal.[7] How else might one explain that?

    Evidence from Pliny the Younger
Another important source of evidence about Jesus and early Christianity can be found in the letters of Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan. Pliny was the Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. In one of his letters, dated around A.D. 112, he asks Trajan's advice about the appropriate way to conduct legal proceedings against those accused of being Christians.[8] Pliny says that he needed to consult the emperor about this issue because a great multitude of every age, class, and sex stood accused of Christianity.[9]

At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians:

They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food – but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.[

We are thankful for incompetent apologists like Zachir Naik as more Muslims are coming to Christ because of you
As Zachir Naik hasn't debated any Christian scholars such as jay Smith, William lane Craig, David wood, James white , Sam shamoun
He is a laughing stock among Christian scholars

  18. Dr. Naik. What you say , about the crusifiction of Jesus, but someone else was crusified in place is UTTER NONSENSE AND TOTAL LIE. Neither Jews nor Romans are fools and idiots like Dr. Naik claims to be. If some one else was crusified in His place where is his body?, May be Allahs servants took the mans body to create an abili. It looks illogical and unbelievable.

  19. They wanted to kill him because he preached the true religion and this threatened the authority of the corrupt religious establishment of his community.

And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'lesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'lesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture.
For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'lesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]: 4:158 An-Nisaa
But Allah raised him ['lesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-
