Some muslim brothers only doing nikkah they say its not relevant to marry by law… …i find it weird tbh it gives a hole to ask urself if he even did nikka with the right intentions. I mean if u marry by law it shows that u also respect the law of the country itself…

In India Muslims are following absolutely same as HINDU religion dowry system. Muslim grooms are asking same as HINDU community, lakhs of rupees as dowry or the new name is jodonki rakam, in addition to that demanding gold ornaments about 100gram's, bedding materials, kitchen utensils, general needs and two wheeler vehicle. Taking lakhs of rupees as dowry and mentioning in nikha nama as 10000 rupees. This is the ground zero reality. Whether these all are the part of sharia. Indian personal law board knows all the things, but acting as deaf and dumb. They don't dare to issue Fatwa in newspapers and educate people . Now a days Indian Muslim bride marriage in a middle class family expense is about 20L. Claiming as true Muslim and following SHARIA. Because of only the thing, taking Lakhs of rupees dowry and writing in nikha nama 10000 rupees. Now a days what is the value of 10000 rupees. That's why Muslim grooms wanted to support uniform civil code in India .
