Remember the threat of 73 groups, 72 to Nar and only 1 to Jannah.

إنَّ الَّذِيْنَ فَرَّقُوْا دِيْنَهُمْ وَكَانُوْ شِيَعِ لَّستَ ِنُمْ فَيِيٍْۗ إِنَّ َاَمْرُمْ لَى اللِِّ ثُمَّ يُنَِّّئُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ
159. Verily, those who divide their religion and they become (split) into groups, you (Muhammad) are not in the least responsible for them. Verily their affairs are (up to) Allah. Then He will inform them of what they did.
(Q. S. Al-An'am – Verse 159)

Leave and stay away from populist scholars and asatizah who are raised by the majority of society (1), because if they do not hold firmly to the Quran and Sunnah as understood by the early Muslims (2), namely the companions of the Prophet who were guaranteed their goodness, they will certainly be lost and go astray. This religion of Islam is a straight path that the Prophet and his companions have walked. There is no shortcut, turning right or left, doing something as long you and the society think is right, that can guarantee safety and deliver us to the final goal safely in practicing Islam.

وَاِنْ تُطِعْ اَكْتَرَ مَنْ فِى الْرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَنْ سِيْلِ اللهِ
116. And if you follow most people on this earth, they will certainly lead you astray from the path of God. What they follow is mere conjecture and they only make up lies.
(Q.S. Al-An'am – Verse 116)

وَالسّٰبِقُوْنَ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُهٰجِرِيْنَ وَالْاَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُمْ بِاِحْسَانٍۙ رَّضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ وَاَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ تَحْتَهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًا ۗذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ
100. And the first of the Muhajirin and the Ansar and those who followed them in righteousness, Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him. Allah has prepared for them Gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great triumph.
