  1. few errors/outdated information:
    – boiling point ethylalcohol = 78,3° C
    – there are actually several 0,0% alc.vol. beer brands on the (European) market and this is explicitly mentioned on the bottle or can! (absolutely no alcohol in these)
    – only in the early days of "non-alcohol" beer it still contained between 0,2% to 0,5% alc.vol. (also obligatory mentioning in Europe), so this is factor 10 less than a regular beer (and not by factor 5 as zakir naik said)

  2. Dr Zakir, perhaps you are talking about Alcohol Free vs Non Alcoholic. There is a difference. In the UK, for a product to be classed as “alcohol free” it still contains alcohol but a low amount which is still haraam. If it is non alcoholic then it does not have any alcohol.

  3. If that's the case, many medications also are made with a little bit of alcohol as solvent and one should not have those as well? I don't think that little of alcohol will intoxicate and therefore it is not Haram.

  4. Besides the ahadith and physics mentioned in this video, there is one more reason why it is prohibitively disliked and forbidden: drinking alcoholic beer is copying the ways of the disbelievers. We have our shariat and we have our own beautiful Islamic ways. We have no reason to imitate the ways of other religions. Whoever imitated a people, it is as if he is part of them…

  5. It's like wearing perfume to prayer. You don't wear an alcohol based perfume to Salah even though the alcohol evaporates . So why would anyone want to drink something which had alcohol inside it at some point. Stick to fruit juice or water. It's way better 😉

  6. Assalamu Alaikum,
Thank you so much Dr Sahib for clarification regarding the nonalcoholic beer.
I want to ask you the following two related questions:
    1. What do you say about the 'Cough Syrups' that contain some percentage of alcohol, which intoxicates the user by bringing sleep but still being used as a medicine in the Muslim world?
    2. What do you say about the use of perfumes that contain alcohol or spirit, which is not drunk but sprayed on the clothes?

  7. I have a question and if anyone can help it’ll be great. They say all non alcoholic drinks in Saudi Arabia should be 100% non alcoholic so it’s halal right?

  8. One of the main reasons why I have never had non-alcoholic beer…. Is simple, shaytan convinces people to sin in stages, from a simple stage to a full all out sin. If 1% leads to 2, then to 5, then 10, then 20 to 50 to 100…. A simple relaxation can always lead to greater.

  9. Another reason of many why I love Dr Zakir Naik so much. I love his reasonings and evidence. Being an auditor myself I thrive off evidence and he seems to always provide this in his talks. May Allah swt bless you my dear brother.

  10. i never understand these kind of things. WHY DO YOU WANT TO DRINK IT? look at all the drinks we are allowed to drink, and there are still borthers and sister who are not satisfied whit that astaghfirullah. May Allah protect us all and help us to be satisfied with what we have! ameen

  11. why would non alcoholic drinks be haram, Allah made alcoholics haram cuz it harms u and make u think not straight, if it has zero alcohol, it wouldnt harm u, so it isnt haram.
