INSIDE The Land Of Incredible Muslim GENIUSES | Uzbekistan

Don’t miss the rewards of supporting Dawah in these nights:

In this episode of Muslims Explored, we journey into the heart of Uzbekistan, a land that once stood at the centre of the world’s intellectual and spiritual legacy.

From the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara emerged some of the greatest scholars in Islamic history. This was a place where knowledge was not just valued it was lived, preserved, and passed down through generations.

But this legacy did not come without struggle.

Under Soviet rule, Islam was suppressed, mosques were closed, and religious knowledge was pushed underground. Yet despite decades of restriction, faith and learning survived quietly, patiently, and resiliently.

This is not just the story of a country.
This is the story of a people who held onto their faith, their knowledge, and their identity even when the world tried to erase it.

🎥 Muslims Explored is a OnePath Network series uncovering the stories, struggles, and strength of Muslim communities around the world.

  1. From beginning to end, I was listening in awe. I've read in a book that Genghis Khan killed so many people there that they made pyramids from human heads they slaughtered. It sends shivers down my spine.

  2. I visited Uzbekistan myself and the most SAD THING is that "IT WAS" the center of Islam and the center of knowledge. IT WAS 😢 … Now only these buildings are left but there are no Madrasas or U'lama as before the Soviet Union invasion … But still Uzbekistan is the best country Islamically speaking amongst the 5 "stans" (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakistan, Turkemistan). It's not to compare at all with Afghanistan of course. Afghanistan strived against the Soviet Union and America and they refused and they are refusing and they will refuse to submit to other than Allah.

  3. The Sixth Crusade put Jerusalem back under Crusader rule from 1229 to 1244, until the city was captured by the Khwarazmians Uighurs. The Crusader–Ayyubid conflict ended with the rise of the Mamluks from Egypt in 1260 and their conquest of the Holy Land 🏇🏇🏇

  4. Thank you so much for this beautiful video! 🙏
As someone from Uzbekistan, it truly touched my heart to see our Islamic history presented with such care and respect. Samarkand, Bukhara, and the great scholars who once walked these lands deserve to be known by the whole world — and you are helping make that happen.

27:04 I am happy to see my groupmate from University among Mir Arab students. Back in University times I saw there was smth inside him that would lead him to maintain the path of Islam.

  5. OMG seriously I heard Bukhara thousand of times but today I finally know where it is .In our school books in Pakistan we learn about this Bukhara Samarkand but I never ever have curiosity where it is sorry Uzbekistan I am very bad in geography 😂.
    ❤ From Pakistan 🇵🇰

  6. The Prophet ﷺ said: "If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for Al-Firdaws for it is the highest part of Paradise, in the middle of Paradise, and from it spring the rivers of Paradise, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful." [Bukhari and Muslim]

Whoever recites Qul huwa Allahu ahad (Surah al-Ikhlas) ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise. (Sahih al-Jami' al-Saghir, 6472) (al-Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ lil-Ṭabarānī 281)

  7. Hello brothers and OnePath team, it’s truly an honor to see you visiting my country. If you’re still in Uzbekistan, I would be delighted to invite you to my hometown—the birthplace of the great Amir Temur.

  8. Watching this reminds me of Surah As-Saf Ayat 8: "They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah will ˹certainly˺ perfect His light, even to the dismay of the disbelievers."

  9. All these scientists were Persian and not Uzbek. To say Uzbekistan produced these geniuses is like saying a student that goes to study abroad was produced by the host nation. You can claim they studied there but not claim them as their own people.

  10. It’s sad the whole video is picked and has beautification of one specific culture but isn’t mentioned ones ! It looks pretty much that the colonisers reached their goal ! But anyways the ones who beared the flag of Islam were always the ones who were afterwards persecuted and expelled of their roots ! So the truth can’t be erased

  11. Please next time when you visit please announce it so we welcome you here. I always watch your content and really proud of to see you in my home country. Assalamu alaykum from Tashkent!
