No one can deny the spiritual connection between Salaahuddin Ayyubi — Nooruddin Zangi — Shaykh Abdal Qadir Al Jeelani
He is Kurdish origin but not fight in the names of Kurds or Arabs or Persian or Turks or any entity, just for Islam.
6:54 Spirituality was not a foonote, but a foundation
Maybe shia Sunni debate become physical but not sunni shafi and sunni hanafi debate.
Really enjoyed this very informative jazak Allah kair, please more videos like this.
Truly one of the greatest and most pious muslim leaders.
His only major mistake were his succession plans: dividing up the state he spent decades building up between his relatives into almost a dozen different tiny principalities.
All fighting one another.Reigniting the disunity which caused the fall of Jerusalem in the first place.
Seeing eachother as bigger threats than the Crusaders.
In fact worst of all, descendants and relatives of Saladin Allied With The Crusaders Against Their Fellow Muslim Brothers……
Allowing the Crusaders to recoup their losses, and even manage to retake Jerusalem in the 5th Crusade….
It was only when the Mamluks did away with the decaying Ayyubid states that Saladins project was restarted. Finally culminating in 1291….
The Ayyubid infighting gave the Crusaders an entire Century of respite.
And weakened the muslim response to the mongols.
As a muslim turk i love Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub and see him as an one of the best human being walk in the earth. May Allah (S.W.T) unite all muslims under one banner again insaAllah.
People respect because most often Salahdin did the right thing which perhaps was not the most pragmatic. May Allah bless his soul and akhirah.
He was a ashari aa7hlul sunnah righteous warrior and leader
The Ummah needs a real muslim like Sallahudin we don't need fake salfi wahhabi yahud fitna.
Wherver you go, you find that people against neosalafi paradigm are always the winner throughout all of history
stop writing ai scripts lmao
Salahuddin topic rises up from the obsession of Muslims waiting for Imam Mehdi AS. People who talks too much about Salahuddin at this time have got their Iman weakened and become frustrated.
Jazakom Allah Khair
Thank you for your comment
The unfortunate thing our leaders are
الصم الأعمى والبكم
I wish the Middle Eastern leaders would think what our brother is saying here
لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم
His legacy can still be seen in Egypt a beacon of sunni islam that has been this way since he took over Egypt from the shia . Under salahudin shia islam faded away from north africa His empire or rather the lands he united may not been inherited by his sons but it was taken in control by his mameluks guards who then build futher on the foundation that salahudin build by protecting the core states of islam from the crusades who the mameluks ousted from the middle east and protecting the other remaning half of the islamic lands from mongol invasions. The mameluk sultanate would not have existed if it was not for the effort of the salahudin and his mentor nuredin the others of his time. His defence during the third crusade is more legendary then the taking of jerusalem as Allah tested him with foes stronger then him but he kept his firm even though everthing seemed grim . The taking back of Jerusalem of by the crusaders was brief and it does not take away from his accomplishments.. rather had he and his armies may Allah have mercy on them all not destroy them at Hattin and wether the storm at Acre , arsuf .. then the brief take over would have been longer by the christians . But Al hamdoulilah this man may Allah forgive his shortcomings and have mercy on him is in inspiration to us all like the rashidun era, yusuf ibn tashfin , baybars, harun rashid and the list goes on may Allah have mercy on them all
Salahuddin Ayyubi, a man even his enemies respected. A Mumin, man of knowledge, a warrior and a ruler. The embodiement of an ideal muslim. Fierce in righteousness and justice. Humble and merciful where it's due. The great awliyah Allah Abdul Qadir Jelani himself put his hand on the neck of a young Salahuddin and never a sword strike his neck after that. The army of Salahuddin was consisted of Mujahideen who were students of the madrissa of Hz. Abdul Qadir Jelani (r.a). They were people on the sunnah. That's why nobody could take Al-Quds from them. If you are on the path of Allah, no enemy can overcome you.
You have yapped a lot. Which fundamentalism are you speaking about? 7:28 Have some shame and respect what you are speaking about, fundamentalism is in fact what allows respect for all the madhabs in Islam. It's the Rashidun caliphate who we need to follow and learn from.
Elhamdulillah for leaders like Salahaddin,Yavuz sultan Selim,Fatih Sultan Mehmed ect. who has fought for Islam-ilayi Kelimetullah.May Allah[cc] reward them highest maqams and sent us more leaders like them, amin….
He used Islam as a cover for his political ambition, drank alcohol, and handed power to his family like it was a kingdomnot an amanah .
He claimed to fight for Islam, but destryed its libraries, left no lasting institutions, no system of justice, no reform . His empire crumbled right after his death, and Jerusalem fell again without resistance. That’s not victory, that’s failure.
Salahudin built a name, not a nation. He’s praised in movies, not by sincere scholars. A disgrace to the Deen.
Saladin's growing ambitions in Egypt and Syria, coupled with his reluctance to fully support Nur ad-Din's campaigns against the Crusaders, created tensions that ultimately led to Saladin becoming an independent power. Why can't Muslims channels actually research Saladins dark side for once.
