Feeding a Fasting Person – #ReviveRamdan

Feeding a Fasting Person - #ReviveRamdan

Invite someone over for Iftaar
One of the easiest ways to double your reward for fasting this month – is by breaking the fast of others.
As the Prophet ﷺ said:
مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا
Whoever feeds a fasting person, will have the same reward as the one fasting without having their reward diminished at all.
(At-Tirmidhi)
By simply feeding a fasting person you get all their reward. It’s really that simple.
And now while it’s much easier to feed your family and friends, we highly recommend you invite any convert Muslims over that you know of. Many a time they will be breaking their fast alone and it’s important they don’t feel left out at this blessed time of the year. Not only will you be getting massive rewards, but you’ll make them feel a stronger connection to the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The righteous salaf (predecessors)  were always keen to provide food for others and they thought that this was one of the best of righteous deeds.
Providing food for people is a form of worship that creates a beautiful ripple effect like showing love and friendship towards those who are given the food. This is all part of the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ who said:
‘By the One in whose Hand is my soul! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not (truly) believe until you love one another.”
(Sahih)
So invite a friend over and help #ReviveRamadan.
