Best Age To Memorize Quran

Although there are various opinions on the best age to memorize the Quran and the initial age to start it is generally accepted that starting at a young age is crucial for the learning standard. According to some scientists, the most suitable age for memorization is between 6-15 years.
Research suggests that the motivation quality of individuals memorizing the Quran is influenced by age, meaning there is a noticeable difference in motivation enhancement among those who start memorizing at a young age and those who start at an older age.
A prior study on early childhood memorization of the Quran found that after listening to the recitation of the Quran for up to 15 minutes, there was an increase in memory. Besides the fact that memorization can be more effectively done at a young age, we also observe that it is beneficial for the development of the brain neuroplasticity.
While the rate of absorption decreases due to the decline in neuroplasticity around the age of 40-50, the central nervous system of young individuals rapidly accepts and absorbs information. The fundamental reason for this situation is the speed of protein synthesis, indicating the potential for enhanced long-term memory.
