Etiquettes of Supplicating to Allah – Dr Zakir Naik

Yusuf Chambers: Dr. Zakir if you could explain what are the etiquettes of supplicating to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
Dr. Zakir: The person should remember that he should only ask from Allah and no one else.
Allah says in the Quran in Surah Fathia Ch. no. 1 verse no. 5
“Iyyaka na’budu wa-iyya ka nasta’een”
“Thee alone we worship, Thee alone we ask for help”
We should ask only from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala
Allah says in Surah Ghaafir ch. no. 40 verse no. 60
“You ask Me and I will answer your prayer”
You can ask from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala anything even if it be a small thing or a big thing, no problem, you can ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala anything.
And furthermore we should ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala with humbleness and with humility that’s point no. 3.
Point no. 4 when we ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala we should ask with confirmed hope that InshaAllah, Allah is going to answer your supplication.
No. 5 we should ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala with fear, we should ask with Taqwa, fear of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
No. 6 we should ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala with extreme longingness that InshaAllah, we longess and He will answer our prayer.
Besides this points there are some additional things which are important when a person supplicates its preferable for example. A person should preferably be in Wudu, in ablution, its not a Fard. He can even supplicate without being in Wudu but if he is like a person who is in prayer, its preferable that he is in Wudu.
Point no. 2 its preferable that he is facing the Kabah while supplicating though its not a Fard
Point no. 3 he should repeat his supplication, it’s preferable to repeat as much as possible and
Point no. 4 he should ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala with single mindedness and with longingness as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) said,
It’s mentioned in a Sahih Hadith of Tirmidhi (Book of Supplication) Hadith no. 3479 that the beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) said that
“A person should ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala with single mindedness and InshaAllah, Allah will answer his prayers.
And Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala does not like a person who asks with his heart when it is toying with trifle things, heart is not in one place.
So these are some of the etiquettes of a person supplicating to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

Maximum reverted muslim scholar like abdur rahaman green ,other western explain Quran in moderate way and after Explaining of Question of people they impose their own view, and always indicate compromise with situation to follow the order of allah , we know many sahaba didnt compromise but accept death or torture , asiya (r:) wife of Feraun didnt compromise there are many of example of sahaba of prophet didnt compromise because of fear of allah . i dont know what is the purpose them to say compromise, sometimes they fail to convince to importance of order.if people compromise the situation will it go to heaven or hell , what is the grade of iman in that time of compromise. compromising to situation will not take way us from Islam , that means we give priority this temporary life then infinite life after death … many own claimed scholar misguiding the people, scholar even dont know the situation is it really compromisable or not according to Quran .

What kind of holy loving God would promise sex in heaven? Open you eyes we are in the last days. What will you tell God when you are right before him on judgement day? I watched your debate with sri sri ravi shankar where, in his second last answer to questions he has mentioned that rebirth is scientifically proved and we as a Muslim doesn't believe in rebirth, we only believe in the judgement day where Allah(s.w.t) will call us from death.
I just want to ask if rebirth is scientifically proved than how you will narrate it i have a doubt on the answer which sri sri ravi shankar has given.
