All Muslims believe that the Quran was orally revealed by God to the final prophet of Islam, Muhammad, through the archangel Gabriel incrementally over 23 years, beginning in the month of Ramadhan, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death.
The 30th edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition was held in Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla during Ramadan 2023. Mohammad Mehdi Aziz-Zadeh, head of the permanent secretariat of the Quran exhibitions, said the exhibition would be held for two weeks beginning on April 1, 2023—Tehran-hosted exhibition as the largest and most magnificent Quranic exhibition in the Muslim world.
This year a greater area of the Mosalla is devoted to this Quranic exposition than last year’s edition.
According to the official, invitations have been sent by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to many different countries for participation in this Quranic exposition. Until now, 22 countries have announced their readiness to participate in the international section of the exposition. It should be noted that various programs have also been planned for the women and girls section.
The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities. It focuses on strengthening Quranic activities across the country and worldwide. 3,000 Quran institutes have received licenses to participate in this exhibition, and DarulQuran UK also participated in the international section.
In the international section of the 30th edition of the Holy Quran exhibition, cultural and Quranic institutions from 21 countries, including Iraq, England, Pakistan, Oman, France, Russia, Senegal, and Lebanon, are displaying their works and activities.
Representatives of Iran’s Al-Mustafa International University, Ahl Al-Bayt World Assembly, the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, and several other Islamic centers are participating in the international section of this Quranic exhibition to brief visitors about their missions, same DarulQuran academy.
The international section aims to familiarize people with the collection of Quranic works internationally and pay more attention to domestic and foreign Quranic works of art.
This exhibition has planned to hold a series of international webinars on the latest studies on the Quran and Islamic topics world. Publishers from several countries are showcasing their latest offerings on the Quran DarulQuran Academy also participated in this section as an international academy.
