If I want to help a non Muslim and I have no money to help that person but their are permanent nonmuslim they even cat help any but when some do business with they they are ready to help the poor so in this kind of matter a person can become a middle man and use two nonmuslim rich parties to do business with each other and from those parties you can get comition and help those poor nonmuslims and from them as well put the condition to business with both parties if they do charity too but business should be not permort immorality and injustice. We can't attend nonmuslim activities but only if there are hungry and ill or some one die and no one is for to help in those conditions. Because our dear Prophet Muhammad Salalaho Alaihi Walssalum helped many nonmuslims and our dear Prophet Muhammad Salalaho Alaihi Walssalum never crossed any limits even when he didn't know that he will be a prophet he attended many nonmuslim festivel but only as to see if their some poor or needy so he can reach that person to help but he never enjoy those nonmuslim activities. Only if there will be any conflict happen he was there so no one fight each other the best example is when he took part in the building Baitulah and put the hijry aswad with his own hands every one know the sorty
