Support the work of Human Appeal Australia, helping deliver food, shelter, and urgent aid to families facing crisis:

In this first chapter of the three-part Muslims Explored series “The Heart of Afghanistan,” OnePath Network journeys beyond the headlines to meet the people behind the narrative and uncover the reality of a nation shaped by decades of war, resilience, faith, and hope. Through firsthand encounters and authentic storytelling, this series seeks to understand Afghanistan not through assumptions — but through human connection and lived experience.

From traditional markets and Jumu’ah prayer at one of Kabul’s largest mosques, to conversations about occupation, identity, and the hopes of a new generation, The Heart of Afghanistan explores the country through an Islamic lens grounded in compassion, history, and truth. This is only the beginning of a deeper journey into Afghanistan’s past, present, and future.

  1. Isn't it obvious, that when Muslims are a minority, such as in Australia, they expect equal rights and freedom of religion, yet when they are in a majority, such as in Afghanistan, they deny equal rights and freedom of religion to non-muslims and even other muslims who don't belong to the right sect. Checkout what the world's major human rights organisations say about systematic human rights abuses under the Taliban regime.

western media doesn't want us to be known as hospitable people. They all have agenda against us

  3. I really didn't expect it from your channel! You didn't mention that its about 5 years women aren't allowed to go to school and make thier education and also you didnt mention the poverty and work possibility which is below zero in Afghanistan. You have to speak the truth and the real face of Tali..ban even its against your interest, dont forget that one day we will answer to ALLAH JALUJALALHU!

  4. Allahumma Barik. Jazzakallahu khair. Afghanistan what a beautiful land and very humble people. Wallahi it made me shed tears listening to the Imam and the kids and just seeing the hospitality of the Afghan people implementing the sunnah and quran.

  5. And you forgot the part where Tony Blair reconciliated the 39 casualties with care packages to their families….that's what living in the west is all about…if you open doors to suicide bombers and extremists….that what you get in war.

  6. I really want to know how the women and girls are living over there. So far the Afghanis seem to be ver warm, hospitable and strong in iman. Looking forward to the next episodes.

  7. Women in Afghanistan are slaves. This guy is just doing propaganda. Kabul has no water. There so many crisis happening at the same time in Afghanistan… and soon a war with Pakistan, the same state that made them win the war against previous regime.

  8. Really great documentary. I remember khaled hosseins book were one of my favourites but it left a negative pitiful impression of Afg along w the Western media portrayal. Thanks for this insightful piece.
