The Only Source of Happiness Please Delete “Someone Power” at the Beginning – Dr Zakir Naik

I wanted to share something meaningful with you about the foundation of the Bible, which Christians believe is the inspired Word of God.

The original scriptures were given by divine revelation. The Old Testament—also known as the Tanakh—was written primarily in Hebrew and some Aramaic, while the New Testament was recorded in Koine Greek.

The first five books of the Bible, traditionally attributed to the prophet Moses, are foundational to all of scripture. These are:
• G – Genesis
• E – Exodus
• L – Leviticus
• N – Numbers
• D – Deuteronomy

Together, these form what is often called the Torah, or the G.E.L.N.D., as a simple way to remember them. These books lay the groundwork for understanding God’s covenant, His laws, and His relationship with humanity.

Over the centuries, the scriptures were translated so people of all nations could understand them. One of the most respected and poetic English translations is the King James Version (KJV). It is known for its majestic language and spiritual depth.

Let me share with you a powerful opening passage from the final book of the Bible, Revelation, which speaks of the unveiling of Jesus Christ and what is to come:

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

I share this with you from the heart, hoping it stirs a hunger in you to explore the truth, the light, and the grace found in Jesus Christ. The time is truly at hand—and now is the moment to seek Him.
