  1. salaam alaikum,

I am terminally ill and I believe this is due to my past sins.. I recently became a muslim during this illness but I am afraid its not accepted due to surah al Zumar 54 that says to repent before the punishment comes as then you won't be helped.

Let's say my illness is a punishment from the Almighty. Does this mean I can no longer become a muslim/repent even though I am still alive? I am very afraid because of this.. (FYI i have no treatment for my illness but im not yet lying in hospital i still might have a year or so to live)

Can you shed some light on this aya?

    Thank you so much,

    Miranda

  2. 🕌 Division among Muslims: Many non-Muslims are confused by the lack of unity among Muslims, especially when it comes to celebrating Eid on different days in the same city.

💔 Problem of Unity: The issue is not Islam itself, but the Muslims' failure to unite. Islam teaches unity, but Muslims often have multiple committees in the same city, leading to disagreements.

🤝 Ego and Conflict: Different groups or committees fight over the announcement of Eid, often out of ego, causing division and confusion in celebrations.

🌍 Global Impact: This issue is seen in countries like the USA, UK, Pakistan, and India, where Eid may be celebrated on different days due to committee disagreements.

🕌 Saudi Arabia's Influence: A newer problem arises from some Muslims following Saudi Arabia's moon sighting, leading to further confusion about when Eid is.

📖 Quranic Guidance: The Quran urges Muslims to stay united and follow the teachings of the Prophet, fasting and celebrating together as one community.

🌟 Gulf Countries' Unity: Gulf countries, like Saudi Arabia, have a unified approach, with one committee deciding the sighting, and other countries in the region follow suit, avoiding the divisions seen elsewhere.

💡 Solution: Muslims need to reduce ego, come together on a common platform, and follow the example of unity set by Gulf countries.
