The term is called "compound unity"…
Genesis chapter 1 verse 28 says "be fruitful and MULTIPLY"
Sonship, according to the Bible results in the MULTIPLICATION of life through the ADDITION of persons, and that is the Biblical explanation of why Jesus, the eternal Son is God, along with the Father. The eternal Father and His Word, the eternal Son, created an image bearer, mankind, that was meant to walk in divine representation of the eternal Father and Son. So LOGICALLY this created image bearer would have to ALSO operate and expand this dominion through a sonship ordained by the Creator. Sonship is the "compound unity" that makes the Creator and the image bearer "one" for all of eternity, and salvation and sonship can only be achieved when you receive the Holy Spirit from the Father, through faith in the eternal Son. The eternal life of God is multiplied in you when you become a believer in the eternal Son, sent by the eternal Father, and you will become an image bearing son or daughter of God.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 says "let US make man in OUR image"
