Prophesies of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Hindu Scriptures – The Atharva Veda – Dr Zakir Naik

Muhammad (saw) is also prophesized in the Vedas, He is prophesized Atharva Veda in book no.20 of Hymn No. 127, Mantra No. 1 to 14. It is called as ‘Kuntap suktas’. ‘Kuntap’ means ‘hidden gland in the abdomen.’ That means the meaning of these verses are hidden. And you will come to about it later on. Kuntap also means ‘Free from misery’ also means ‘Peace’, similar to Islam. It’s also related to the centre of the earth and we know Makkah is the centre of the earth. And Allah says in the Qur’an in Surah Ale ‘Imran, Chapter No. 3, Verse No. 96, that

“The first place of worship was Bakkah”

Which is another name for Makkah.

Time will not permit me to go through all the 14 Mantras. I’ll just briefly speak about the first four Mantras.

Atharva Veda in book no.20 of Hymn No. 127, Mantra No. 1 says, He is Narashansah, He is Kaurama, who has been protected from 60,090 enemies.

Mantra No. 2 says
He is a camel-riding Rishi.
Mantra No. 3 says
He is Mamah Rishi

Mantra No. 4
He is Vachyesv Rebh

The first Mantra says, He is Narashansah

‘Nar’ in Sanskrit means a human being or a man. Shansa means ‘Prashansa’, praise worthy. A man who is praise worthy which is exactly the translation of the Arabic word ‘Muhammad’ which was the name of the last and final Messenger Muhammad (saw).

It says, he is Kaurama. One of the meaning of Kaurama, is a ‘Prince of Peace’ and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) was a prince of peace. The other meaning is an emigrant, and we know Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) migrated from Makkah to Madina and he was an immigrant.

First Mantra also says, he will defeat 60,090 enemies. And approximate population of the people of Makkah who were against prophet Muhammad (saw) was approximately 60,000 thousand.

Mantra No. 2 says
He will be a camel-riding Rishi

No Indian Rishi, or a Brahmin will ever ride a camel, because according to Manu Smriti Chapter No. 11 Verse No. 202 it says “A Brahman is forbidden to ride a camel or an ass.” Therefore it has to be a Prophet who is a foreigner

Third Mantra says, He is Mamah Rishi. A Maha Rishi ‘Mamah’d some verses say Mohammad some say great rishi

Mantra No. 4 says he is Rebh. Rebh means one who praises which is the meaning of the other name of Prophet Muhammad (saw). One who praises in Arabic is called as Ahmed which was the other name of Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Muhammad (saw) is also prophesized in Atharvaved, Book No. 20, Hymn No. 21, Mantra No. 6, it says, it speaks about the Battle of Ahzaab, the battle of allies. And it says that he will be protected from 10,000 enemies and he will win the battle without fighting it. He will be a ‘Karu’. Now ‘Karu’ in Sanskrit means ‘a person who praises’, in Arabic it means Ahmed which is another name for Muhammad (saw). It says he will win the battle without a fighting it. Talking about the Battle of Ahzaab which was won without fighting it. And we know the approximately population the enemies at that time were 10,000.

It further says in Atharvaved, Book No. 20, Hymn No. 21 Mantra No. 7, that Almighty God will overthrow 20 Kings and he will protect the Abhandu from 60,099 enemies. Abhandu in Sanskrit means an orphan. The other meaning of Abhandu means praise worthy which is translation of Muhammad into English (pbuh). So Abhandu in Sanskrit if you translate into Arabic means Muhammad (saw)…
